i celebrated my birthday with a stay at kirchbuehl superior, and it exceeded all my expectations. the spacious junior suite had a breathtaking view and the food was exceptional, especially the breakfast spread. this was my second visit to grindelwald, and the warmth of the staff made it memorable.

Inconsistent heating controls made the room uncomfortably warm!!! Walking to the town center felt longer than anticipated due to the steep uphill return!!! Unavailability of electrical outlets in the room was inconvenient!!!

We stayed here for 11 nights, and I couldn't believe the attention to detail by Mrs Vera Brawand-Kung, who made us feel like family. It was more than just good service. they truly care about making everyone comfortable and happy!

It was just an optimal selection for a whistle-stop in Grindelwald with extraordinarily good value for money. The packed lunches provided were surprisingly tasty and made our day trips that much easier. Bring some water bottles, as local shops can be pricey.

Just a heads up, the trek to town can be steep, so it might challenge some folks.

The staff here were super friendly, which made our stay nice. The room was clean and cozy overall. We enjoyed the packed lunches too! It was a bit of a trek to get to town, which could be a hassle if you want to explore a lot. Some areas felt a bit outdated.
